Next up is the Sites of Work Exhibition by Benedict Welch, which takes place from 3-13 July:
A series of large oil paintings made in response to Stroud’s industrial landscape, including canals, mills, capstans, viaducts and overlooked spaces. Developed through digitally stitched photographs and sustained studio work, the paintings explore how wide, complex and unstable places can be translated into paint.
